WHAT'S IN YOUR BEEF?
This was a project done for my information design class during my undergrad. We spent three weeks researching specific topics in groups and eventually broke it down into a narrative that would educate, inform and persuade an audience. My group decided to research the structure and consequences of nutrition in America. We created an audience persona and then wrote a purpose statement collaboratively. After gathering research through books, online resources, documentaries and more, we split up and narrowed in on more specific subjects. I decided to focus on the differences between hormone-fed cattle and grass-fed cattle. We spent a good amount of time sketching out different options for a narrative and then I moved on to designing an icon system to use throughout the final spreads.
